Events FAQs

  • You don’t need to be a member to rent event space at QCowork! We do, however, recommend booking a tour beforehand to get a full feel for the space before confirming your reservation.

  • Yes! You’re welcome to bring in your own caterer. To best fit the flow of our space, we recommend casual options such as buffet-style service, sandwich platters, light bites, or hors d’oeuvres.

  • We’re happy to provide onsite support on the day of your event! To ensure everything runs smoothly, we ask that you connect us with any vendors you’ve booked ahead of time so we can help accommodate your plans.

  • We don’t have on-site event parking, but there are convenient nearby options! You can use the lots on Church Street and Progress Street, or check the Blacksburg Downtown Parking Guide for additional options.

  • We ask that our furniture not be moved. We’re happy to help with small adjustments to suit your event setup, but the space isn’t equipped for fully moving or rearranging furniture.

  • Yes! Alcohol is allowed as long as the proper permits are held by either the event organizer or the caterer.

  • Absolutely! Light decorations like balloons, flowers in vases, or centerpieces are welcome. Please avoid anything that needs to be installed, adhered to a surface, or could create a mess (such as glitter or sequins).
